I am a mother of six children and a widow.
My world shattered in 2008 when my husband passed away, leaving me pregnant with our sixth child. The years that followed were unbearably hard. I had no home, no basic household items, no land—nothing at all. I was lost, and the weight of the hardships I faced each day felt crushing.
There was a time when, in sheer desperation, my children and I even considered ending our lives to escape the pain.
Then I found Jethro House Rwanda, and they changed everything. They bought me two hectares of land, built us a beautiful home with electricity, and gave my children the opportunity to return to school—something they had to abandon because of the extreme poverty we lived in.
To me, Jethro House Rwanda is not just an organisation; they are a lifeline, a beacon of hope when all seemed lost. They gave my children and me a second chance at life.
Today, I can see a bright future ahead for us—something I never thought would be possible. From the depths of my heart, I pray that Almighty God blesses them abundantly and grants them long life, for they have given me and my children a future we once thought was beyond our reach.
